Costas Apostolides studied economics and political science, was appointed to the Planning Bureau in 1970, where he was at various times responsible for a broad range of sectors. He has served the UN as a development economist in Croatia, Lebanon, Iraq, Myanmar and Thailand. He focuses on peace economic and has developed the concept for Cyprus, Georgia/Abkhazia, Georgia Southern Ossetia, and Pakistan/Kashmir Trade. He is a lecturer responsible for “Negotiation for Conflict Resolution” for the joint masters Course of Malta and George Mason Universities.
