Prof. Hatice Jenkins @ Department of Bankıng and Fınance at EMU
Professor Hatice Jenkins is a teaching faculty in the Department of Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University. She specializes in the fields of small business finance, microfinance, financial sector policy reforms and risk management in banking. Previously she was the Chair of the Department of Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University. She has 24 years of international work experience where she worked on UNIDO, UNDP, USAID, and ADB funded consulting and training projects in Sri Lanka, Kyrgyz Republic, Egypt, Ukraine, Mexico, Cyprus, Turkey, UK, France, Nigeria, Kenya and Kuwait. She was also the founding director of the Executive Program on Financial Institutions for Private Enterprise Development (FIPED) at Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID), Harvard University. She has a B.Sc. in Management from Middle East Technical University in Ankara; an M.Sc. in Economic Development from University of Keele, UK; and a Ph.D. in Development Finance from University of Bradford, UK. She also holds an Executive Program Certificate on Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis, from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
